The PAS application improves firefighter safety in several ways, including:

  • Providing a real-time list of currently onscene units and personnel direct from CAD/RMS.
  • Providing a dynamic check-off form to assist in conducting routine or emergency accountability surveys.
  • Writing the results of the survey to the CAD Incident History for reference or audit purposes.
  • Allowing the location or function of each unit to be viewed, entered or updated during the survey.
