To send an alphanumeric page, select the icon shown to the left. |

There are four basic ways you can send a page. The first is by Pager ID. All users have a four-digit code assigned to their individual pager. Many groups are also assigned codes which page all group members simultaneously. The second is by Login or User ID (also referred to as Operator ID). You can use the "User Lookup" option to find this ID (searching by last name). The third is by Personnel List. This option presents a drop-down list of personnel names and is battalion specific (shown below). The final way is by Apparatus List. This option presents a drop-down list of all units. All members currently logged on to this unit will receive the page. |

The Personnel List option is shown to the left. Tap on the drop-down list and select the desired individual. |

Enter the text of your message on the lines provided. You can write your message using Graffiti or the built-in Palm keyboard. Consider creating shortcuts for routinely sent messages. |

CAD will confirm the message was sent, or report any problems.
